I beg to differ. When I spent my time in the Phoenix area in October (Avondale), I had tap water. And I'll tell you, it wasn't bad at all.

I live in a place with most possibly the best tasting tap water in the US. At least, that's what I've heard.
Go down to the Twin Cities metro, and the water is absolutely disgusting. That's one reason I wouldn't be able to live down there. Even when ran through a filter, it just tastes different and weird.

I was SO surprised to find that the Phoenix water is actually more than tolerable. I thought for a desert, the water would be BLECH, but i found the opposite to be true.

Ya its either that or drink the nasty city water.

You are so right about Twin Cities water, I lived there for a long time, never drank unless cold and still tasted like toilet water with bleach
but that can be most city supplied water there. The only water I could drink was well water and fast I don't have a problem with filtered water and may have to do it, as hate buying bottles unless for road trips...

Face it: certain Trolls who frequent the Phx Forum would call you crazy and a liar.

Hint: I am not referring to anybody in this thread as a Troll.

Yeah you'd think for the land of 10,000 lakes that we'd have FLAWLESS water. Bah!

Though Duluth has always had the best water of any place I've had tap water. I can remember going to the Cities when I was young and dreading having to drink the tap water. This is before filters became commonplace among my family. Even now I still dread it.

I declare Phoenix the victor of the tap water war between Minneapolis!

It's 2009 and the computer age, we aren't face to face anymore, I think a lot of people express how they feel by spelling, I know I do. It's not bad grammar, I mean, spell check has enabled us all to spell like a dictionary.

Do you undrstaaaaand? lol We spell with accents as well, gotta luv it!

I mean I love it here in the Winter time but these summers are just rediculous! You would think you would get used to it but you just dont. How can anyone get used to 109?

We have decided to start spending May-Sept in the Northwest. I think this will be the greatest decision and purchase we have made yet.

Ok...thats it for the daily news.
Me too! Except I moved to colorado for the summer~ 5th of July and woke to 56 and projected temps to 79 for the heat of the day~And the water is great!

Well, those horns on your head are distracting but I guess in an attractive way.
