I'm Filipino but I don't know of many Filipinos on this forum. I kinda hate that we are considered as "cheap labor" for the rest of the World. Because work from other countries still pays better than many local Filipino jobs.
There wouldn't be as many around if abortion and divorce were not illegal over there! If China hadn't instituted a one-child policy, we'd have the Chinese coming out of our ears and noses!
I visited my family in St. Louis a few years ago and some of my cousins never even saw a Filipino until they met me and my brother (half black and Filipino). I'm guessing there are still parts of the Midwest and maybe the south that's still clear of Filipino communities.

With the exception of Nevada, Filipinos are almost non existent in America's landlocked states. The vast majority of Filipinos flock to U.S states that have a coastline.
