Maybe it's because Jolo and the rest of the Sulu Archipelago didn't vote for the Bangsamoro Organic Law. The BOL is more favored by the mainland Mindanao Muslims, while Sulu Muslims dont want it. Maybe some group is retaliating because they think Christians are responsible. Christians are only a tiny minority in the Sulu Archipelago, so they have nothing to do with how the vote went

they should just give independence to those majority Muslim areas

its cheaper for the Philippines instead of trying to win them

right now, the govt is spending on the Army and Police to keep the peace and social services, which is being corrupted by the ruling Muslim families.

so i say, let them have the independence they are fighting for.

the whole of Mindanao and the Visayas can join them if they want it too

Luzon can take care of itself

This is the why I advocate returning to the ways of garuda and the majapahit with a secular democratic government and a uniform civil code

The times I've been to Mindinao....General Santos, Davao, Cagayan de Oro....I saw American military. They've had covert operations there for a long time. I've heard from locals there are bases there, but none of it public information. But, if you go there, they are certainly there.
