yeah I would also claim 30-40% of Indonesians have East Asian Face ,that's because you haven't been to Indonesia and say Jakarta people looks like southern Thais you are too wrong while Jakarta people are too diverse a lot of Chinese population plus multi ethinc if you are Thais come to Jakarta you feel the same as in Bangkok. 3 days I was in Bangkok the people's there were no different from those in Jakarta

Dayaks, Nias, Palembang (South Sumatra)
have bright skin and smooth face
Sundanese, Minahasa , Toraja, some Minang
have brown skin and round faces
Javanese, Balinese, Batak
there is a touch of arab, indian and portuguese
Aceh, Some Minang,Some Malay , Batak, Flores, Timor, Maluku
well it's like you described Thai people in your thread because you don't understand Indonesian people look like and say they are the same .. Javanese and Malay people are different .. Malay and Tagalog are different .. Javanese and Tagalog are different. South Thais people we know they look more like Malay people in Malaysia .. so you would say Indonesian and Malaysian people look the same this is the same as you say vietnamese and Thais people look the same

Thai people never wanted to look like anyone else either, we look like Tai-kadai which is our own unique looks.

There are maybe some Han-Chinese ethnic in Thailand (Thai-Chinese).
But majority of Thailand population are Thai/Tai/Dai(Tai-kasai) ethnic which is around 70% of the population, not Han-Chinese okay???
So most people in Thailand are Thai-Tai, not Thai-Chinese okay???

1.Average people in Northern regions of Thailand(Chiang Mai)
It obvious that Southern Thailand is the only region in Thailand that people on average looks similar to Cambodian/Filipino/Indonesian/Malay.(and Southern Thailand has quite low population which is around 15% out of the whole population of Thailand)
On another hand the rest of Thailand which are Central+Northern+Eastern which has the combined population of around 85% of Thailand on average looks East Asian similar to people in Southern China, Hong Kong or Taiwan.

It's just the same that you don't know how to tell the differences between Thai/Tai(Tai-kadai) ethnic and Han-Chinese ethnic in Thailand. Then you basically made disrespectful statement such as "Thai want to look like Chineses" which definitely insults Thai/Tai(Tai-kadai) people.
Thai/Tai(Tai-kadai) ethnic doesn't want to look like anyone else but themselves, they don't want to look like Han-Chinese or Khmer or anyone else.
