Israel has no choice and doesn’t care if war is popular. They were viciously attacked and will ensure that it doesn’t happen again. Like having the US abide by a truce after 9/11 or Pearl Harbor.

Not sure how that relates to my comment, as I was merely pointing out that Jerusalem is a holy city to all 3 religions.

How can you possibly get more hostile then thousand of Palestinian militants flooding over the border to butcher 1,400 Israeli citizens and kidnap hundreds more, from a city-state that has as part of it's constitution the elimination of Jews.

Look, all the Arab states and terrorist groups out there have one goal - the elimination of Israel and the murder of all men, woman, and child residing in the state. How exactly will this cause even more bloodshed now then has occurred in the last 70 years? There is no possible road to peace out there.

Anyways, this topic is getting extensive coverage in the P&C forum.

This is what the Queen of Jordan says the root causes of the current conflict are:

- Illegal occupation by Israel of Palestinian territory
- Illegal settlements by Israel in Palestinian territory
- Routine human rights abuses by Israel against Palestinians
- Israel's complete disregard of UN resolutions and international law

And in conclusion, she said "You can kill the combatants, but you can't kill the cause."

I believe her and support the Palestinians 100%.

It is completely shameful that the US is supporting the nation that illegally occupies, routinely abuses native people, and disregards international resolutions and law.

We made those errors 150+ years ago. We know better now.

Do the Palestinians really have to wait 150 years for Israel to redress it's wrongs? Hasn't the world learned anything from past errors? I would hope so.

Shame, shame shame to President Biden, all of his administration, and to all of the Senators and Congressmen and bureaucrats who are supporting Israel.

Really? Have white Americans all moved back to Europe and given all the land back to native Americans? What do you think the US government would do if native Americans start demanding restoration of all indigenous nations from the Pacific to the Atlantic? What would you do if native Americans suddenly decide storm into white people's homes and behead babies and toddlers?

The Queen of Jordan has the Arab agenda and is not an objective source.

Israel vacated Gaza (including uprooting all the Israeli settlements) under the former Israeli PM Ariel Sharon several years ago meaning Gaza hasn't been occupied in years.

Queen of Jordan is Palestinian I think.

But I offer this question to her: Historic Palestinian land is actually partially in Jordan. Is there a reason she doesn't create a Palestinian homeland in her country? For that matter, is there a reason she is not offering refugee status to Gaza Palestinians in Jordan? I can also ask her why her country seized and illegally occupied the West Bank, set aside by the UN for Palestinian settlement, for 20 years.
It is completely shameful that Jordan illegally occupied, routinely abused native people, and disregarded international resolutions and law.

For anyone that lives in a country that recognize Palestine, there is such a country. The Palestinian head (or representative of the Palestinian government) also attends the yearly meeting of all the countries recognized in the UN.

Case in point, President of Palestine at the UN.

Now Spanish Sahara (or Western Sahara) is something else. Maps made in the USA (or elsewhere for a US public) simply show Morocco, but maps of countries that recognize Spanish Sahara and see it as invaded and occupied by Morocco do Spanish Sahara is much of what in US maps is the southern part of Morocco.

Why none of the Native American nations in the US are invited to the UN?
