I haven't done an official study, as if that was all you would consider. But I have met enough in my tiny circles to know that there must be many others like them.

Your tiny sample is obviously not enough to base s generalised claim of atheists going back to Jesus on. For all I know they are as likely to drift away from needing the trappings of church attendance altogether. But I don't know and I won't claim that I do.
