It really was smug... weak moment of ego i guess.
My point stands though regarding the atheist evil and religious evils of this world.
Basically there is enough evil to go around regardless of belief or non.
I suspect that most of them are simply hedging their bets by applying Pascal's Wager. I've been an unbeliever since 1968.
It has always seemed funny to see people who actually see any safety in the hedging game. I am sure if their "myth" existed he would be able to recognize the sheep who blindly followed and those who just followed the group as a secondary safety net.
I see many very active older Atheists in my area, and think as the non religious view becomes more accepted, we will see a bigger shift of older atheist not being fished into the religious culture.
I hope there's a shift coming, how much longer will those sheep follow blindly?
Him being a deity, he should know the real believers from the ones who follow out of 'fear of the unknown'. So there's no hiding place, is there? It's weird how they don't see how foolish it is to be deceiving an allknowing deity....one who can 'strike you dead', best not play games with such a myth.
