How is the area of Camp Creek. Me and my wife came down to check out homes because we are planning to move and we went to the homes in Barrington Trace and feel in love and also got to see the million dollar homes near by so I wanted to see how the area is?

I like camp creek because shopping is convenient in the area. There is a lot of night life on Friday and Saturday as they have a lot of restaurants/bars that run late night. The area is cool and close to the freeway and airport. Make sure that you consider your commute from work to home.

Yeah, thats the part that I liked the most was the convenient shopping. I imagine the commute will not be to bad because me and my wife will probably be working downtown

I like the camp creek area. Traffic can be a little congested around the 285 interchange because of the marketplace, but it's a nice area.

Any other recommandations on communities similar to this style with easy access to downtown?

Did you just check out Barrington Trace?

It's a couple of similar communities off of Camp Creek off of Union and Enon Road.

Yeah I looked at Barrington Trace and loved the community. I also looked at another neighborhood up the road which I cant remember the name and liked the homes but did not like how close they were. I didnt get a chance to look at any other communities in that area so do you have any other suggestions, im trying to stay under 300k but willing to look at low to mid 300k

Camp Creek is just a suburb within the city, with every store on one road. Camp Creek Parkway is horrendous to drive in during either rush hour or weekends. And the road that goes within the marketplace itself (I don't know what it is called) is also congested. Public schools in that area are so-so, if that is a concern for you.

Also (and I don't mean to imply anything by this, but for those unfamiliar), the area (SW Fulton/East Point/College Park) was predominantly black before the buildup and continues to be heavily black-populated. I don't know if you (OP) are black or white, but some posters on here care about that for various reasons. So, I am just throwing that out there. Take it into consideration if you care.
