Morelli's for the win! Try the Earl Grey or the salted caramel variety.

Not ice cream but for frozen yogurt my favorite is the Yogurt Tap in Decatur, followed by Yoforia at Piedmont Park or West Midtown.

In a year or two you may have a great option at Ponce City Market as it was written an ice cream place may go in there.

I love Jake's. Their ice cream is awesome! I've never tried Morelli's. I'll have to check it out. I prefer Yogurtland over Yoforia. It has better flavors, tastes better and is actually less per ounce than Yoforia. But the only ones are on West Paces Ferry in Buckhead and The Forum in Norcross.

I wouldn't suggest Zesto's to anyone wanting to go for ice cream. I'm assuming they'd want to experience different flavors and toppings. It's just basic chocolate and vanilla machine soft serve (though they do dipped cones). It's good but I don't think it's what someone looking for ice cream shops would want. If I have a taste for ice cream and I just happen to be by a Zesto's then I'll get it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go to Zesto's just for their ice cream. I would suggest Yogurtland or Yoforia over Zesto's for soft serve because of the varied flavors and toppings.

I'm one of those who still believes you can never go wrong with Baskin-Robbins. I absolutely love BR! Best mint chocolate chip ever.

I find myself going to the yogurt shops instead of ice cream these days. Whatever happened to Hank's? I know they close a long time ago. Did they move or are they gone for good?

Definitely Morelli's, or also High Road Ice Cream. They mainly sell to stores, but on Saturday are open to the public for tastings.
