Can someone who knows the West End tell me if Tassili's Raw Reality restaurant at 1059 Ralph Abernathy is close to teh Streets Alive walk? I'll be taking Marta. Looks like Tassili's is by the Wren's Nest.

I think it is across the street from the Wren's Nest. It is not that far from the station.

Maybe if you call your order in today, it will be ready by the time Streets Alive gets here...

Ummm---don't understand the sarcasm. I happen to be planning this event for a group of people and need to let them know in advance. Yup, I know some people like to be spontaneous. I like to plan ahead. Sorry that doesn't meet with your approval, but the OP did post about Streets Alive in advance, so obviously I'm not the only one who likes to make some plans and have things to look forward to. Not to mention that my diet does not allow me to eat most restaurants, so another reason to plan ahead.

I am not familiar with the area, but based on Google Maps, it's a 13 minute/.7 mile walk from West End Station to the restaurant: https://www.google.com/maps/dir/680+...33.7385229!3e2.

Also, based on the the OP's map, the restaurant is definitely in the zone of the walk. That being said, you may actually want to call ahead if you have a group because you know how long the wait at almost any restaurant can go sometimes if you're trying to have more than two people seated during a busy time.

Thanks, Elle. Very helpful. I was actually disappointed that the walk is only 2.7 miles, so adding another .7 miles on is okay with me!

I have only attended one and that was last May on Peachtree. It was more like a play date lol than a walk. If it's like that one then you'll have plenty of time for doubling back and what not plus lots of activities to do along the way to get the engergy out of your system. I had such a great time that I'll definitely be at this one even if it's raining like it was at the last one. (Well, that wasn't the last one but I just didn't know about the one in September.)

Just a joke, relax Jazzcat22. Tassili's Raw Reality has a reputation for notoriously slow service.

Oops---sorry---misunderstood. A life lesson in making everything about me and taking offense when none was intended.

I'll be okay with slow service---just want a relaxed day. With the loop being less than 3 miles, I can easily do it in an hour, so a nice long lunch won't be a problem...
