If Clayton approves MARTA sales tax, I can see a HRT station here in 20 years. But running BRT temporarily along the same corrridor, until rail can get built.

I've been in that area several times lately and it is great. This is a beautiful project.

However, there's no transit there so I don't think it would be considered TOD.

Why should it?

It is closer to an existing MARTA station than Turner Field was and people talked about it's great transit access. Seems to me that it already is connected via bus.

Why would you run MARTA extension .5 miles to this mall? It makes little sense.

What is an extension? You can already ride free to various stops in the area and up to Arts Center Station. I thought that was part of MARTA.

The shuttle is provided by the owners of AS because there must be transit provided over the 17th street bridge. The 39 bus exist, but AS knows providing shuttle buses will only increase the number of shoppers.
