Why would you run MARTA extension .5 miles to this mall? It makes little sense.
obviously if atlantic station were to get a MARTA station it would be a part of a larger line connecting to less-connected parts of west midtown. there is already a tunnel going out in that direction.

Atlantic Station will likely get a high-capacity passenger rail transit connection, but any passenger rail transit service is still many years away at this point.
