I classify the majority of Atlanta rappers as being among the best "crappy" rappers. Rappers who make catchy songs with catchy beats but have no intellectual meaning.

My favorite Atlanta crappy rappers would be Migos, Young Jeezy, Future, K Camp, Travis Porter, and Young Dro.

Everyone knows real hip hop starting in the Boogie Down Bronx. I love Atlanta, but Pseudo rap will never cut it.

Atlanta rap is the new LA. Obviously it'll never get better than OG gangsta rap (Pac, Cube, Dre, Snoop, etc) but other than Biggie, IMO, most can stay in NY.

Hip hop mightve came out of the Bronx but Rap came from California.

Not speaking 100%'s, just most.

Jay-Z is cool and all.... but has nothing on Dre.

I'll watch the vid later. Thanks for sharing.

We all know the Jerrie Curl originated from Cali, but your list of those you name shows that you only favor those Rappers who came out of the West. If it wasn't for the Bronx those you name would have not existed either.

I'm not expressing any hate. I didn't start listening to any rap until NWA came and went, and Pac. Most things before that I couldn't speak about. ^^

Just sharing my worthless opinion on the variances of rap by location. Its a topic my brothers and I talk about all the time. We're all hardcore Westcoast fans. To us, rap is gangster while hip hop is rap that is not gangster.

But modern days, yea, TI, Ludi, Outkast, dominate. ATL is the new Cali scene.

I'm certainly not hating. Being that I'm white in a predominately white neighborhood, I dont get to discuss rap as often as I did living in the A. Most of the snowflakes around me havent experienced an ounce of struggle in their life and have nothing in common with a good rap song.
