As long as they play Master of Puppets, Nothing Else Matters and Enter Sandman I am okay.

I know a lot tend to be upset about how it happened but development since it was announced has been crazy around here.

Ugh it looks terrible. Cobb County

kidding, looks nice. Drove by it the other day and was surprised to see it so finished. Does look like it will be rather miserable to commute to via car.

I drove by it the other day, and saw the 3 new pedestrian bridges which all look nice. One is over Circle 75 at the south of the site (the one that connects with the big bridge over 285), one is over Circle 75 @ Windy Ridge, and one is over Windy Ridge to the stadium. All are simple but have a good look to them. Nice dark green color.

One thing I didn't like, is that huge ugly long parking garage, but I wonder if they're not done yet and plan to wrap that.

Also curious to see how dominating that sign is at 285 & Cobb Pwky. That sign seems like it may be way too big while the billboard height sign on 75 seems too small.

I must say that looks really nice. It's simply too bad it isn't in the city, but oh well. Atlanta has so many other great developments going on. And maybe it's for the best. Perhaps we should be glad most of the development is residential. Maybe we should be glad these big sports arena boondoggles are in the suburbs. Didn't they destroy too many neighborhoods? Don't they create massive parking lots and issues? Perhaps we should hope that city development is dominated by residential-oriented projects?

I think you're right and honestly I haven't encountered anyone that would want them back. As dirty as I felt it was how they left the city, I sure as hell don't want to be paying any more sports teams than we already are. CoA has enough going for it.

It's 2 miles outside Atlanta city limits, with an Atlanta address. Hardly the great exodus that everyone portrays it as.

If it had been built 2 miles on the other side of river, in the city, it would have been the exact same primarily cars-based development and traffic plan, and abysmal transit situation.
