One thing I really wish for is a mall in Downtown kind of like Water Tower in Chicago but most of the mall shopping is down outside of downtown.. that said, which is your favorite? Lenox? Phipps Plaza? Cumberland? Perimeter? Mall of Georgia? North Point? North Lake? South Lake? Greenbriar? Stonecrest?

There's something about Perimeter that feels just right. Not too big or small; not too pretentious or downtrodden; not too crowded or empty.

Oh man, I went into North Point for the first time in years the other day, and it was depressing. Not one single Christmas decoration anywhere, except for the lame Santa playground that was about as commercialized as a Nascar. To me it felt like Gwinnett Place did in the early 2000's. I just had this feeling like everything was about to be shut down...very depressing. And the lack of decorations really bummed me out. It's like they gave up. Maybe it was just a bad day, I don't know.

I haven't been there since Avalon opened, so maybe that's it. But when I lived in Alpharetta for 2 years, and worked there for 6 years, I enjoyed going there.

Nice place, like Lenox, but yet down to earth, and without all the insane crowds of Perimeter/Lenox. Just liked it.

I liked Mall of GA and Discover Mills a lot too during both of their first decade of existence.

I've honestly come to like Peachtree Center a lot, but my favorite would be Lenox.
