Coworkers visiting from LA loved Avalon (Atlanta, Alpharetta: apartment, to rent, how much)

Some of my team members from LA were in Atlanta last week for planning meetings and I drove them over to the Avalon area after work for drinks and dinner. They really liked the area and requested me to take them there again the following day. They told me that they didn't expect something like Avalon in the suburbs of Atlanta and were all praises about how cool the area was..

I haven't been inside Avalon in an year but I couldn't help but notice how much the area has changed in the last couple of years. The newly constructed office tower boasts tenants like Microsoft and SAP and the Apple and Tesla stores added to the coolness factor. Happened to speak with a couple renting in Avalon during the visit and was surprised to know that some of the families are paying between 4k to 5k monthly to rent an apartment in Avalon. The alphaloop connecting Alpharetta downtown to Avalon also added to the attraction of the area. Also someone told me that another high end mixed use development is being planned across the street from Avalon. My feeling is that this area will see a lot more high end development in the coming years and will become a jewel of the Northern suburbs and a coveted area for people looking for an urban oasis in the suburbs.
