Hello. If I'm not mistaken, this was started by KB Home then sold out to HomeLife Communities. I'm not sure what your budget is, but this community is one from a lower price range production homebuilder. I don't know much about schools up in this area. Still has a bit of a rural feel to me. Outlet mall is the nearest attraction besides the lake. Whoopee!

Gwinnett County has built a number of new schools and is planning more. They seem to always be hiring school teachers.

We chose Cumming over Suwannee as Gwinnett seemed way over developed, Cumming traffic may be tough near Johns Creek, but North Foryth is really easy to get around.

We live in the Cool Springs subdivision, The homes are 4 sides brick, and we have almost an acre lot.

As for the Forsyth county of 1987, that is long gone, all those residents sold their property to a subdivison builder. I've seen no racial tensions at all.

The school for the Bridgetowne Sub is Coal Mountain. It is a great school and my kids do well there.

They are building a Walmart at the intersection of 400 and 369, I would ask about how close it will be as that is where Bridgetowne is located.

Hi I am looking into bridgetowne this would be 1st home, would you mind giving me an idea on utility expenses, we have rented all our lives and only had to pay electric - we don't want any surprises later, I assume we would now have to pay gas, electric, water..anything else I missed?? would appreciate you insight

Cumming has lived with a reputation for not welcoming minorities for many many years.
It has changed drastically in the last 8-10years with many new people moving here.
If you walked into a Walmart or Home Depot these days you will see a much more diverse population. It still is not as diverse as I would like it but changes have been made. I HOPE you help us become a much greater community by not passing Cumming by because of our past....this is a different time and I think you would find it a nice place to live.
