Everyday since I live here...I don't even rememebr the last time I went outside of the perimeter. Most friends who want to hang out who live OTP or on dates always come to my place 1st or we meet at a location in Downtown, Midtown or Buckhead. No wonder I put less than 3000 miles on my vehicle last year .

Good googley moogley

I got my car 3 years ago and I've only put on about 13k....most of that was from 3 road trips to the beach.

As for the OP, I'm in the city all day everyday except for when I go to visit one of my friends who lives OTP. Can't think of two many other reasons to leave the city other than that. I'm sure OTP is a nice enough place though

Interesting, so basically "Atlanta" is just a few attractions and a 18lane highway you pass through on the way to airport...

just what I thought

Nope. Just about everything I like to do in the metro is ITP and there is always new things to do and see. Attractions out number most cities. Based on the number of people at Piedmont park and others over the weekend I am not alone in this opinion.

Funny thing is you've been talking about getting to the airport and out of town for years and your still here complaining.

That makes no sense at all when more than 50% of the respondents say that they are in the city 19-30 times per month.

Live in Tucker, work downtown M-F. In addition to work, I probably go into the city two or three times per month on weekends, so the number for me is 20-25 times per month.

Live in Midtown near Peachtree with the wife and our preschooler. I work near Buckhead and she works in Midtown. We have a lot of fun intown at parks and museums and only go out of the city limits of ATL or Decatur when it's time to visit the family in Marietta (where I was born -- yay, May'retta!) or for a road trip to lovely Sweetwater Creek Park.

It has been too long since I heard someone say that!
