In your position, I wouldn't consider buying yet. Find a place to rent until you learn the area more and by then, your housing range may have changed a bit.

im working with an agent now and i've done my own research that has turned out to be successful. i have found alot of properties in the metro area in good neighborhoods that are around a hundred. im not looking for a brand new home. thank you to everyone
