Or maybe not..?

My husband and I are looking to rent in the Buckhead area (zipcodes 30305, 30326 and even 30327!) We are willing to go up into Brookhaven (30319). However, we're quite picky about what we want:

2 Bedrooms
2 Bathrooms
24 Hour on-site concierge
Gated parking
Updated appliances
Granite countertops

We want this all on a <$1500 budget. We've seen Bennington Towers and Brookhaven Apts, which have what we're looking for in terms of amenities, however, the buildings looked old and dilapidated.

Are there any gems that we're missing? Or is everything we want simply priced out of range?

We are willing to look outside of this area, as long as it is North. I work in Duluth, not far off the Steve Reynolds exit. He works in the heart of Buckhead. We'd love to live in Buckhead, but are willing to look beyond the area.

Thanks for your help in advance!

I would be surprised if Virginia Highlands as apartment complexes that have 24-hour concierge.

Have you tried looking into rentals from private owners of condos in the area? You might be able to find one for around $1500 per month with those amenities.

But, to be honest, could you tone down the list a bit? I mean, is a 24 hour concierge absolutely necessary?

"South" Buckhead, and no mention of concierges, but try: Lindbergh Vista Apartments Atlanta, GA - Apartments for Rent in Atlanta Georgia

You may also want to look at: http://www.05buckhead.com/ (prices start at $1,200 for a 1Br but you never know what deals they may have), and the have all the fluff amenities, too.
