It's sad to see all the class nose-thumbing going on these days. Grovetown has plenty of new middle class developments (The Summit, Chastain Place, Ivy Falls, Northlake, the really nice Magnolia Glen, Senator's Ridge, Canterbury Farms, Main Street are some examples) and a trailer park image is nothing more than uppity Evans folks doing class-based nose-thumbing. I've heard plenty of parents with kids in Evans or Harlem High say their kids have done great. The class based snobbery is misplaced and sad.

The columbia county area is good. I just do not like Greenbrier school because of drugs. To me the best place is the North Augusta Sc area. It is just a few minutes from the downtown Augusta area.

Visiting Evans again this weekend! Final visit before our big move in June! I am curious to know where all the family activities in the evans area?. Here in Woodstock we have a local recreation center that holds lots of different programs throughout the year.

Thanks so much!

Don't know if you realized it, but the post you responded to is over 4 year old.

Default schools

When we moved here I visited the prospective schools. Also researched online. Test scores aren't everything but a good starting point.
