Give us a better idea of what you're looking for, and we'll be able to help you better.

Budget? Are you looking to rent or buy? What do you like to do when you're not working? Where will you be working and what do you consider a reasonable commute that you can live with? Do you like new or old houses, new or established neighborhoods? There's a lot of "good neighborhoods" in Austin, depending on your individual situation and preferences.

thanks thats true.
we like modern homes not too old, nice and quiet
we want to rent a house for maybe 3 to 4 years $850.monthly rent? depending on the house. my husband is a dentist and am still in school, we don't care about new or established neighborhoods as long is quite and safe. we love to exercise and were both very active also we love dining every weekend. thank u!

You are going to be hard pressed to find a house for $850 a month rent in the Austin city limits. You might be able to find a duplex. I might be wrong though. I did a search and it seems there are a few but they were build in the 50s or 60s.

Yeah, mostly duplex and fourplex listings in that price range. It can be done though, you should search AustinHomeSearch.com under "leases"

Given that there are many people who love Austin, why would it matter to you if someone else moves to a city and enjoys it just because it doesn't work for you?
