Not tool long. 30 plus years, but I am ready to leave. I like this great country and I still have choice.

Austin had 20 inches in 2011.

2011 was Austin's hottest year on record | www.statesman.com

"the weather service said Austin reported 19.68 inches of rain for the year , making 2011 the 11th driest year on record."

_If_ they have storage capability, there could be plenty in wet years to save for dry years.

Wonder if the level will reach 681. It does look like the rise per day amount is slowing somewhat.

Oh, no, it will not get there (without more rain). In fact, it is right around the historic year-round average right now, I think.

Ok. That's the reason I've been hanging out on the thread is you guys know a lot more about it than I do.

I moved there back in early 2011 and moved away last year, so the lake was down the entire time I was there thus I never knew what normal was. Looking at all the links, I had assumed the average level was 681, but full pool isn't the same as average then.

No rain for next 10 days so it will start to come down most likely. But it's at a great level now.

Up about 38' since May 1. Still shy of full, which was last seen in 2010. See the red line on this chart.
