Thinking about buying (or renting initially maybe) in Georgetown Tx. Relocating this summer from the Northeast. Husband will start new job with Williamson County. Have children in elementary, middle & high schools. My youngest (age 8/3rd grade) is high functioning (spectrum disorder) requiring speech & minimal OT services. Currently in general ed class with aide and has great supports in place. Any advice or thoughts on Georgetown schools & special ed? Does residence in Georgetown Village feed into schools that would meet these needs? Your insight is truly appreciated!!! Trying to make big life decisions from 1700 miles away😣!!! Thank you so much!!!

Where are you moving from? Texas won't have the type of comprehensive services for autism that New Jersey would for example. Texas is a low tax, low service state.

Agree with centralaustinite that you should call GISD (and RRISD, & PISD & LISD & possibly LHISD....if you end up looking in those areas) about special needs.
In regards to your question about the quality of the school feeder pattern (from people I know in Gtown):
- Benold MS is the best MS in Gtown. (unless there's a new one I don't know about)
- GHS is a tiny bit better than EVHS (but both are good).
- Your ES in the Village (& the 2-3 ESs most near it) are all very good schools.
If the special ed works for you, looks like a good track from that neighborhood.
