2015 was the Memorial Day flood followed by the Halloween flood.

I was headed to a campus off Dittmar around 1pm today and there were several cars trying to get onto the road. It was very much closed due to flooding. I had to go down to slaughter and down south 1st to get to my destination. I’m sure it’s not the only place that’s closed.

Just missed you, we drove back from our son’s near St.Elmo School at 2pm - went up S. 1st to Barton Springs Road over through Zilker Park to get on MoPac to head north to the Round Rock area. We used the toll lane down & back which made it non-stressful.

I was a bit further south but it doesn’t sound like that was a bad trip! I’m planning on meeting up with friends for a run at Walnut Creek. We’ll see how that goes.

Me too - loving the cooler temps and everything being so green but getting tired of the rain and dreading the inevitable heat and humidity that will come after it stops.

It’s too bad the rain isn’t falling where it needs to in order to fill up the lakes though. They’re up a little but not enough.

Travis is creeping up slowly but steadily, I will take it. Up three and a half feet in the last week instead of down some amount.

Rain across the LCRA basin this past week:

More than I thought - that’s good. Definitely better than going down.

It was awesome on the lake today - good combination of warm temps and cool water, with a gentle breeze .

I went to Pepe’s Tacos and had to sit in my car with the A/C on at noon.
