Do you all want to keep Rick?

I'd rather keep Perry. I don't like what Kay "bailout" Hutchison is doing..not leaving office while campaigning for governor. Seems to me she wants one foot in each place..just in case.

I also don't like her voting record as compared to her speeches.
She should have stood proud next to Ron Paul and voted NO on that big bailout last year.

Governor Perry won with very little of the vote last time (30%?). Does that answer your question? The election was a bit of a circus.

She is a Republican so of course very few Democrat voting Austinites are going to support her. I think she would be a better administrator than Perry, couldnt be much worse. But thats not enough for me to want to support her.

I don't like Perry, but I'm also not impressed by any of the candidates at this point.

Let's see how long this thread stays open.

Her and Perry are six of one, half a dozen of the other, as far as I'm concerned. If I posted what I really thought about them, my comment would probably be deleted, so I'll just say I don't like either one of them and leave it at that.

If you want a Republican you get to choose between an A&M yell leader or a UT cheerleader.

I wonder if a community organizer will be running on the other side of the aisle, we all see how well that is working out in DC.

I prefer Rick. I've heard so many horror stories about K's decision making fiascos I don't want her to get in and flip on us like Obama did.
