I didn't say he criticised the Premier. I gave you the quotes from the court transcripts where he said his advice was ignored and that there was no risk in opening the border to SANT.
In fact he is supportive of The Premier in not critiquing policy. He did not say no risk, he gave a low per cent of risk involved.
But as health and population support present measures, it hardly matters what the dwellers across The Simpson Desert mull over their porridge in the mornings.

Nope: "Mr McGowan’s comments came after WA Chief Health Officer Andrew Robertson on Monday told the court he had recommended a travel bubble with South Australia and the Northern Territory be considered, but was ignored.
Dr Robertson has stated the risk of coronavirus re-entering the WA community was less than one per cent, with or without the hard border being lifted to other jurisdictions which have also contained the virus."

Yep. Less than one per cent. But did not critique WA government intention of creating 100% safety or near as.
WA will obviously be in the position to create a favourable bubble between like minded localities over time. No rush. WA doing exceptionally well. No reason to spoil it.

Dance around it all you like troubes, but the fact remains the public health advice is that it is safe to open the border to SANT. The risk is the same whether it is open or closed. So the expert medical advice is that it can be done now. Why is the Premier ignoring the Science?
This morning the ABC had another family torn apart by these stupid Qld border restrictions. A father from Northern NSW unable to see his four year old daughter being treated for cancer in Brisbane, because, wait for it, the Queensland government have told him they're worried he might get infected in SE Qld and take it back with him. Because if there is anything that the Qld government has taught us in the last few months it's that they give two sh!ts about anyone not from Qld. As the father pointed out, his daughter has cancer, he's not going up there to holiday, it will be serviced apartment ---> hospital ----> serviced apartment.

WA is not going against science. More to the point he is ensuring public health to the support of over 90% of the population.
Obviously you will be able to 'procure' certain bod's from within the industry (health) who may create the impression among those who with self interst in one way or another, that will use the slightest suggestion or apparent ambiguity around border closures to further own ends.
But still nothing on why The Feds, are locking exit from Australia down. Making this the only country in the world to lock down its citizens from leaving Australia.
Far more relevant and pointing at authoritarian government than Victoria. Selective disquiet and anger at best. Pure ideologically framed bashing at worst.

No cost is too high for the AFL grand final.
Look at the bigger picture. and At any time in most any event, there will be certain reactions of an unfavourable nature as a result to a situation created.
The creation of this one, being for the benefit of public health. Without doubt, as always in such situations, policy can and should be 'twigged' where necessary, but under such circumstances, with so many 'Big Players', having massive influence over media and economic policy, without doubt, unfortunate situations will be grandstanded by same self absorbed interests.
Thus promoting dissent in order to pressure more favorable outcomes to selves, not that they give a sh+t about anyone as you elegantly put it.

Yeah, he is the chief health officer of WA. This isn't complicated troubes.

troubes you are getting yourself all twisted up and defending things that you usually rail against - all because of the team you support.
The "Big Players" here are the AFL. The accidental premier tweaking rules for the benefit of big business while the poor citizens suffer. The man in this example presents no risk to his or the public health. Masses of AFL hangers on from Melbourne wandering the streets of the Gold Coast does, but one is good PR for the election and the other bloke doesn't vote here, so who cares.

Well you are certainly tying yourself up in knots over it. Best not to read into things, processed by those with interests, other than public health, putting own preferred slants on messaging in order to achieve desired effect.
