Hello, Years ago, I seen, on TV the beach area over there, it was so beautiful of an area, as I am fond of beaches and seascapes. Would love to get to know the area and Shark's Bay, and towns near there. Would realy want to have a friend to email with in that area. I do not care about your age, just to have some friends over there. Thank you.

Hi Kapalua, where are you from? Are you interested in moving to that area?

I live in Perth, about 600 km south of Carnarvon, haven't actually been there but I'll be happy to talk/answer questions.

Yes it's a beaut part of the world, pristine beaches etc. Shark Bay is a world heritage area of course, well worth visiting.

I'd love to visit Lancelin, WA. The beach and the sand dunes look incredible.

Yes Lancelin is a nice spot. The locals and visitors like to 'sandboard' down the dunes: basically riding down them on a boogie-board, lol.

W.A. is just one great big, gorgeous beachscape. No need to travel too far to be on an amazing beach. An uncrowded amazing beach.

Default Anyone reside in CARNARVON, AUSTRALIA

Hello Trinac20, I had tried to get online here Wed, but they said they were too busy and apparently I was ONLINE but I could not get online here, I do not know how I stayed online here at city-data when I was told too busy? So yeah, I would like to know more about the area. I use to live on the island of MAUI, HAWAII for 21 years Back in the states now for 9 years. Yeah someday I would like to go there, maybe even MOVE there. Maybe I should email you at your email corridor in bx at city-data. So, is it a town or just the name of the beaches. Can you actually swim or play in the ocean's edge and not be alarmed about sharks? I never seen one shark in the water on MAUI, and I be swimming up to 4 hours at a time, I love the water. WELL I need new battiers in my keyboard, so hope to hear from you, MAHALO ( thank you in Hawaiian ). No, i have am not Hawaiian but I do have that Aloha Spirit in me.

Why would anybody want to leave Hawaii?
lol

Yes Carnarvon is a town, about 900 km north of Perth. And no, sharks are not a big worry, attacks do happen but are very rare. In fact more attacks happen further south, like the beaches around Perth. Lots of wonderful pristine beaches around the area you can swim in. Shark Bay is a World Heritage area. What kind of work do you do btw?
