That and buying out Bobby Ginn didn't do favors. They went from the 1 and 8 to adding in the 01. At least they had Mark Martin for a year before he left for HMS like Jr did.

I know I don't know the whole story and I always thought Theresa was pretty smart but that move is looking dumber and dumber...

Michael Waltrip Racing will run only two full-time cars next season because of the loss of sponsor NAPA. MWR began notifying employees so they could look for other work.

Truex and Vickers teams are the victims. Truex is looking for a new ride, possibly FRR.

I thought Vickers was going to the 55 which is unaffected by this move. That may be all moot though because Vickers has another blood clot, and his medical issues could end his career prematurely.

Sucks for Truex. If he cannot find a ride, I would say he should sue MWR for losing the NAPA sponsorship directly because of their actions.

Yeah that too is sad. It seemed he got his happy ending but I am saddened to hear his condition is back again. Get well soon Vickers.

Oh yeah!

I'm sure another owner will be really happy to pick him up as a driver as soon as he files that suit.

Wait, wasn't MWR running only 3 teams? Bowyer, Truex, Vickers/Martin/Waltrip? Did I miss someone?

Not sure what you mean. They have three teams this year and will have two next year, plus part time for the 56.
