I don't really want to have to defend my post because I was ony relating what it did for me, not trying to convince anyone that it's right for them or sell anyone on the idea that it's great - just relating my experience that's all. That said - I put the filter in the Rav shortly after I got it so I would imagine the filter was still fairly new and not dirty.
