I'm talking abut what car turned you on that was bulit in your era?

For me it was the 1986 Ford Mustang SVO. While other teenage boys were lusting after something that went fast in a straight line, I was into road racing at the time & the SVO did it for me. Yeah it was front wheel drive but I still loved it. Something about a turbo-charged Mustang putting out 15 Psi that I liked!

For me it was my brand spankin new 57 Ford convertible.
This one pictures wasn't mine, but mine was just like this one (except for the color) right down to the continental kit.
I had just graduated from high school, and this was my present to myself.
I went to work on a farm when I turned thirteen, and saved every penny I made, so this was a cash sale.
Not bad for a 16 year old kid.

Bob.

I was 16 in 1996 when the first C5 Corvette rolled off the line...it was love ever since . In 1996, THIS was the car to have and everyone young and old was wishing they had one in their garage!

I've had a love affair with Vette's ever since the first day I saw the local Chevrolet dealer have a bright red 1997 Coupe in the showroom. Many, many years later from my days of aspiring to own something fast, sleek, and sexy...I purchased a 2005 'Vette convertible and now I'm the proud owner of an '08 Corvette convertible. Love the Corvette brand and everything about the cars!

I remember a dealer telling us it was front wheel drive. Of course car dealers lie so I might be mistaken.

Mine was the El Camino, and as I got older (20) the 72 came out and that was my favorite year. Finally got one at age 50.
