I am selling our car on e bay. It is ony 7 years old but has 149,000 miles. However, it has a clean title, no accidents and it runs perfectly. New transmition, cat-converter as of last year. We have never ignored any issues with the car but always taken care of any "issues" right away.
I just want to know why I can' t seem to sell it. All I am asking is 3,900 dollars. Kbb's price is way above that for that model car in its condition.

What kind of car is it? Luxury cars are much harder to sell with high mileage, because the parts and service is much more expensive than a regular car.

Probably because you're so negative about it.
Secondly... older, high mile and low end cars are an IN PERSON deal
you need to focus on LOCAL buyers.

I think this is the key.

Most of the cars I buy are high mileage; the prices are usually much lower, any major problems the car would have been likely to have would have happened and been corrected, and usually the more expensive parts that tend to wear out will have been replaced by that time.

But I have to be able to see, touch, and drive the thing to assure myself that it's not on the verge of engine and/or transmission failure. I have bought a few that I really didn't get to drive, but in each case I paid no more than salvage value so I knew I wouldn't get hurt.

Do you have any opposition to posting a link to the listing? If we see what you're actually presenting to prospective buyers it might help us answer your question better.

Ebay is really the last resort when you can not sell a car. You will need to get excited to sell it, if not excited about the car get excited about the cash.

You can sell a car on e bay and still do it local.I am not trying to be negative. I just asked a question giving you the facts. Also, what's wow about a new transm. After 145000 miles
Anyways, thanks for your input.
