MOUNT HOPE, N.Y., Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Authorities in New York state said a woman allegedly distracted by her cellphone drove into a herd of cows.
Mount Hope police said Daisy Cowit, 21, of Wawayanda was allegedly using her cellphone as she drove into a herd of cows crossing the road, striking six cows and nearly injuring two farm hands, the Middletown Times Herald-Record reported Tuesday.
Illegal to not be hands-free in California, but it seems about one out of three drivers here is either talking on their phone (holding it to their ear) or punching away at it (see the tell tale bobbing head). A young female relative of mine was cited in my town - over $400 for the ticket.

I wonder if she now understands why it is important to concentrate on your driving, not take your eyes off the road even for a couple of seconds, pull over to use a cellphone?????
I hope she carries a lot of property damage insurance coverage. Some other online articles say a few cows in critical condition were given emergency surgery!
Why do you want her to learn a lesson. This is Natural Selection giving her a booty call for a threeway with her and Death. Her airbags and seatbelts c-ckblocked.
On TV News this morning her father STUPIDLY and ADAMANTLY insisted she was NOT on her Cell Phone.
Proof positive . . . THE NUT DOESN'T FALL FAR FROM THE TREE.
