Make sure the dealer lets the car sit for a few hours before they try looking for the sound. Dealerships love to shoo people away by saying they couldn't 'reproduce' the problem. I'd also recommend making a video of the issue occurring and taking it with you.
If you are breaking your car... of course its going to make funny noises!
