I see a lot of desperate dealers (and I understand why), so maybe we can collect the best deals you have got, either a final deal, or a car that you actually bought.

The best deals i have seen so far is 84 months for 0% APR (but then the final car price might be higher than usual). Actually 84 months is not a bad thing with 0% interest since the last years worth of payments will be less worth than they are today, due to inflation.

Bring out your best deals/offers.

The dealer I use closed down for all new sales, only open for service and existing sales/ordering.

But their inventory doesn't just disappear and turn into money... even one car sale is better than none...

They posted this on Facebook yesterday. The local family that owns the dealership group is wealthiest in MN worth around $4B.

“At [Company Name], we take seriously the health and well-being of our valued customers, our teams and our communities.

[Company Name] has made the following decision:
• Our Sales Operations will temporarily close. This means that we will not engage in any new business. However, by appointment only, we will honor and continue to process any in-progress transactions.
• Our Service & Parts teams will operate with reduced hours –and by appointment only –Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Our leadership team will continue to monitor the situation closely and will use their discretion if business conditions change – allowing for the possibility that we may re-open sooner if warranted or extend the closure beyond April 30, if necessary. As new information about our operating schedule becomes available, we will share updates here.

If you have questions, would like to schedule a time to finalize your in-progress transaction or need to schedule service, please contact us at [Company Phone #]. We apologize for any inconvenience this temporary change in our operations may cause and appreciate your understanding as we all navigate through the weeks ahead.

Take care of yourselves, and we look forward to seeing you at the dealership in the future.“

Depending on the state, purchasing a car may be easy but titling, registering and getting plates may be difficult as DMV offices may be closed.

No one is buying any big ticket items, they are just trying to get toilet paper and other household items, hell you can’t even buy a fever thermometer now. So i don’t know why everyone is talking fire sales in this national emergency.
