My Dad ordered that same car in burgundy with the fake wood. It had a Thunderbird 390 cu. in. V8 and this was the car I drove at 16 years old!

In 1963, I got my mom to buy a new, experimental Oldsmobile turbocharged F-85 Jetfire, in Flint, MI. It sure had good looks, and lotsa poop, too!

She drove it, with family, moving to Helena, MT, where it and family were scorned for it.

She was forced, by Swedish family, to replace it with a Ford Falcon, to make us, "good folks".

Problems were found with the all aluminum Jetfire engine.

I found out before mom died, that her family, all Greek, living in Taunton, MA, owned a Moon, manufactured in St. Louis, until 1929 happened.

'70 Buick GS 455 Stage 1 convertible with a four speed manual.

I had a 70 Buick GS 455 convertible with an automatic. Balls out acceleration but I like having three pedals.

Hemi 4-speed Superbird, I'll take that in one of the nice loud colors they came in, the standard 3.23 rear end gears will be fine, thanks. A/C would be nice but not a deal breaker if absent.

Well thats easy. Presenting the Amphicar:

Neighbor around the corner had one, it was around 66 or 67 so it was pretty new. Looked like a blast, and still does. The one in the video sold on BAT for $59,000.
