LMAO this has to be one of the most retarded things I've ever read. I think they really need to focus on the boneheads who break the law with these cars. Mind you not everyone who has one of the above cars races.

Sounds like we may be safe for a while.

McCarthy hatches many schemes which have the net effect of striking freedom from the options list.

It's making fun of the proposed "assault weapons" ban (H.R. 1020) by showing how ridiculous such arguments are. But I wouldn't be surprised if serious efforts were made to do something similar...

Neither would I. All I can say is that if they start car-grabbing, they will have to pry the steering wheel of my Hemi Challenger out of my cold, dead hands.

IMO, some woman yakking on her cell phone while driving a minivan full of hyperactive kids to Chuck E. Cheese's probably represents a greater menace to society than a BMW driver.

They don't even sell Paganis here, much less "Pagoni."

That's OK. All the people who did not get that it was a joke will call her office and scream at her.

*sheesh* My scooter is 50hp. I guess that bad puppy will be outlawed

Anyway, I think the local Law can handle the aggravation of street racers when they are so inclined

Arrests mount in Triad street racing : News-Record.com : Greensboro, North Carolina

I laughed a little at the picture of the police inspecting one confiscated car. I bet they were really drooling over it

This is SOOOO on target. I love it. Why not give it a shot? Who really needs a "high powered vehicle anyway?

So a light duty truck, like the toyota tacoma (comes in a 4 cylinder) is classified as "High powered." Idiots!
