OP, you didn't say if your SUV is 4WD or not. If 4WD, you may be satisfied with something like the Radial Trail T/A.
A note about the Blizzaks - only the "top" "half" of the tread is snow compound, once they are worn down halfway (Tire Rack or other tire dealer can be more specific" they have a regular "all weather" compound. I'm not knocking the Blizzak, it's an excellent tire.
Any snow tire depends to some extent on deep tread to work. All-season tires work OK in snow when they are new with full tread depth, not so hot once they are worn down some.
Really, go to Tire Rack's website, input your SUV's make, model, and year, then the website will walk you through the choices they carry. Tire Rack does not carry every brand, I don't think they have Nokians, but they have a good variety, can give you some ideas.
FWIW I'm running Michelin Arctic Alpins, these are now discontinued, replaced by X-Ice. The Alpins were my choice as a good snow tire with better than usual snow tire performance on wet/dry pavement, since around here *most* of the winter the roads are bare and either wet or dry, usually dry. But it does snow occasionally and once in a while we get it pretty good.
You may want to look at the X-Ice as well as the Nokian and Blizzak.
