Pure beast! I'll be the first to admit, I never did get comfortable driving her. This was DH's ride through and through. It would never be a "relaxing" drive...as she fought you the whole way. And....one big blind spot! Side mirrors and rearview meant nothing...Even looking over your should to change lanes, your view of the side lane was blocked.
Power wise...awesome....She is long gone tho...so many cars, so little time!
That fight was keeping her slowed down I am sure. That is one beautiful piece of machinery.
My first car was a 1986 Honda Prelude. I drove it from high school until I finished Medical school. I went to the Expedition. Living in DC, I needed something smaller and my father in law gave me his ML320. I was rear ended in December 2006 and I bought a Camry Hybrid in 2007.
We needed a larger vehicle when my parents move in (due to multiple myeloma) so we got an MDX.
Its a big block with a 4 barrel so its not the greatest, but it does ok. probably 12 mpg or so in town and 17-19 mpg on the freeway.
Yeah, they're not known for the gas milage, but I love them anyway. My son has a straigt 6 and that beast is unstoppable. Not that great on milage either though.

I'm sorry about the multiple myeloma.
I like how your cars all fit the stage you were in. Not everyone can say that. I know I can't. All of them are nice rides though.
I cant put in everything but will toss in a couple of pics that I do have on hand. The Dakota is my baby right now, and the Trooper was my prior. Loved that Trooper, it was a real rock-climber, lotsa good memories in that ol' truck!
This ol' Plymouth isn't mine, it belongs to one of the guys that comes to our car shows.
