2010 Dodge Avenger in base trim and or 2010 Dodge Caliber in base trim take the ugly cake so far this model year. These things remind me of the old K-cars -- just so uninspired. At least with the funky Cube and Soul they were inspired (by what, I don't know, but they seem to be selling 'em)
Someone posted the new Accord, and I thought was ugly in spite of my Honda bias until I saw one in person. It's really not that bad, but Toyota did a better job turning their crossover out with the Venza.
The Tata Nano is pretty ugly and its coming to America.
So are the Mahindra SUV and pickup.. both also coming to America..
I do not know why people are posting about cars that are NO longer in production (e.g., the 2CV)... the OP title pertains to cars currently in production.
People don't get it....the Nissan Cube is supposed to be ugly looking. As the unconventional owner of 2 of them, they are GREAT cars....ugly and all.
That was obvious. I live in Las Vegas and I have only seen 2 of them to date. Not to many people want to spend almost $20,000 on something that is hideous looking. If you like them, that is fine. However, the general masses would not be caught dead in one of those things.

The Nissan dealer perked up when he heard I was undecided between an Altima Hybrid and an Element (two totally different classes of cars, I know) and insisted I get into that fug Cube.
But MAN, are the looks deceiving from the outside. Inside, it is large, roomy, with a ton of overhead space, and just an overall really good ride. I couldn't get past the exterior to appreciate the interior well enough to purchase it though. But I definitely see the appeal.
Ugliest car? Well, I don't know about ugly, Honda ruined the CRV, and now it looks like a raisin on wheels. Also, the Crosstour, most crossover SUVs, and all minivans.
Being a long-time Honda fan it pains me to say this, but really don't like the looks of any of their current offerings. Of course, if Honda listened to my advice they wouldn't sell any cars.
Well, they nailed it then. And that logic would seem to have been a big mistake on the part of their marketing people.
I don't know many people that look for something ugly. Utilitarian, sure. Plain, you bet. Rough looking, gotcha. Ugly? Not a big market for ugly.
Another to think about is the resale value when someone trades a Cube in.
