1979 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Brougham DIESEL.

The only problem with the car was everything about the drivetrain.

My husbands beloved Mustang GT 2007. Bought it brand new in 2006 with zero miles on it. Had already a big scratch on the leather seat. Weeks later the dash board rattled really bad. Cannot go to all major gas stations because tank is built so weird, that some nozzles don't fit. What a hazzle! Seat-pull-forward-handle broke within the first 6 months and still keeps braking even though we barely use it. No dead pedal - carpet got damaged really quick.
Built so cheap, the wires are hanging out under the steering wheel.
No back wiper. The car is big but trunk space is poor and trunk heavy to close.
When traffic lights turn green - minivans are just as fast as the Mustang, it takes forever to reach a certain speed. Big disappointment.
Husband put in supercharger and sport clutch last year for $10,000, to beat the minivans ... Since than the engine rattles on a certain speed, the clutch rattles in a certain gear, if we turn on the heat it gets better .... The whole car seems to fall apart. The sport clutch is so difficult to drive that we keep stalling and still cannot get used to it even after a year. Really DIFFICULT to drive until you are in the 3rd gear. Have been at the shop a few times because I did not want to believe that they did not screw up.

Husband still loves the car and wants to put more money in it. I wish we would have bought a better car for the whole $45,000 he spent on it already.

But it looks nice ...

I see a theme.

Are you a slow learner, or what?

As much as I hate the new Mustangs, this is straight up B.S. A 2007 Mustang GT will run 0-60 in 5.1 seconds, and 13.9 in the quarter mile. There is not ANY minivan even remotely close to being able to keep up with that. Either your husband doesn't know how to drive OR you are making this up for some reason.

Since the supercharger is in the car, it's different. But before, it was really a big disappointment. I even went to the dealership and let them test drive because I did not want to believe, that this sports car takes so long to get to a certain speed while my GTI was already arriving in the next town. They said because the Mustang is so heavy, it takes so long.

I am not a car expert but I had a TT in Germany with only 180 hp and when we bought the Mustang I just thought there should be a big difference in power but I did not feel it. Since we have the supercharger and about 480 hp I finally get pressed back in the seat.

I looked up the Audi tt, and even a six cylinder Mustang would blow it away. The only other thing I can think is there was something wrong with your husband's car from the start.

That is why I went to the dealership and let them test drive. They were wondering what I am talking about. I told them I had a TT and they said, yeah, don't compare apples with bananas or stuff like that.
