whoa the TU-114 or bear bomber was made to bomb north america during the cold war they still invade US and candian airspace to get us to send up F-15's amd Cf-18s
I've always thought that the SR-71 was just a beauty of an aircraft
as well as a P-51 Mustang
and yes the Valkrie was a beauty as well and one can't help but notice the resemblance to the SST....
I agree....IMHO....the SST definitely "borrowed" some of the design elements of the Valkyrie.

The OP asked what my fav aircraft are and I posted them.
The TU-95 was their strategic bomber, the TU-114 was the commercial passanger variant of the TU-95.
The TU-160 White Swan is their most modern bomber
The latest Russian 4th gen concept fighter is the Suhkoi S-37 Berkut
I'd like to add the A-10 Thunderbolt II( Warthog) and the B-52 Stratofortress Bomber(B.F.F.F.).....both are iconic designs while adding new meaning to aircraft longevity with upgraded electronics. Though not the most elegant or pleasant appearing aircraft.....both have a beauty in their seeming simplicity, ruggedness and functionality.
Second place: The Pregnant Guppie. A heavy lifter that was butt ugly but had the greatest name ever.
