Brooklyn is already in Baltimore City. Brooklyn Park is in AA county.

I'm not sure what would change, beyond demographics.

Probably not, but if you went all the way around and added Catonsville, Arbutus, Towson, and Pikesville it would.

I'd love to see a renaissance of Brooklyn Park one day, but I think it would have a better chance of happening as a city neighborhood not in AA county. Being in the county isn't seen as hip by developers and young buyers, but the city is.

You guys are both right actually. On a license the town of Brooklyn Park is called Brooklyn, but the neighborhood in the city is more commonly referred to as Brooklyn, County.. Brooklyn Park.

The water (both the patapsco and the Middle Branch) is a natural attraction for the area but with 895 severing access totally, and a major industrial area to the east, I don't see Brooklyn or Curtis Bay undergoing much of a resurgance. Too bad, both have that great "small-town within a big city" layout.

You'll never pass freshman English writing and spelling like that. Moreover, what does that have to do with the city annexation of Dumdalk, Essex and Brooklyn Park?

Default Ain't gonna happen

For several decades now, by a legislative action, Baltimore City has been specifically prohibited from annexing any more land from adjoining counties. So it ain't gonna happen, if you are worried. If you are not worried, it still ain't gonna happen.
