Anybody notice that there is alot of run scoring going on in baseball this year? Its seems like everyday there are a few teams scoring in double digits. Do you think its because the pitching is bad or are the hitters getting better?

Besides Sammy hitting 600.... this will be the only highlight of their season.
Nice job bettin' the crap out of the O's.... even though this doesn't make up for the so-so season they've had.

29 runs were scored in a game twice i believe in the 1950's , so maybe just that game the pitchers were crap and the hitters all turned into babe ruth.

The ball is not juiced, all 30 teams now put their baseballs in a humidor which I actually watched the baseball edition of myth busters which proved baseballs not stored in a humidor went significantly farther than ones that are stored in a humidor. I think a lot of it has to do with the pitching these days sucks. The ballparks are smaller. The hitters are better and bigger (steroids or not, I think it's safe to say everyone is clean now the testing policy is too tough to get by with it now) and it's just becoming more and more of an offensive game. I like offensive baseball so I don't have a problem with it.

Diluted pitching. Many would be in AA or AAA in years past.
