I think that they are overvaluing the White Sox who went into a complete rebuild mode at the halfway point last season, and under valuing the Blue Jays, who though losing some of their heft at the plate, still have a tremendously strong pitching staff. Were I a betting man I would plunk down $ which say that the Braves will win more games this season than do the White Sox.

The Braves will absolutely win more games than 71 this year.

I like this a lot. Stockpiling pitchers who are capable of pitching 200ip with a number of quality starts is always a good bet to get you to .500 or better.
I'd go over on the Red Sox. There's just too many quality starts involved from just their top three starters. Toronto/Baltimore are decent but I don't see them taking that many w's away from Boston.
I think Philly could outperform their win total. That's a decent rotation that should get over 72 wins.
I'd throw some $ on Oakland to go over. They're due to have a decent season.
Maybe I'd go under on the Yankees. Their hot streak after last year's fire sale is being overvalued. They have a bright future but their rotation is extremely thin and they still have a weak offense.
These projections look pretty solid, although I think the Giants, Braves, Rockies, and Tigers will have at least five more wins than expected, while the Mets, Reds, and Angels will fall at least five wins short of their respective numbers.
The Braves may be the most intriguing team this year; I can see them winning anywhere between 69-87 games, and I can't imagine a span even half that wide for anyone else.
Like so many other such products, these look more like projections of the past than of the future. I think Matt Wieters stands to help the Nationals quite a bit, and there may yet be another foot to fall out of that deal as well.
