I agree with Noah, screw the Heat. I never thought that I'd do this but I'm going with Dallas. I hate Hollywood teams like Miami. I think that Dallas' bench will offset Wade and Dirk will be too much for Bosh. Lebron will be a huge problem but he doesn't have the tenacity to get things done. Kidd is too mentally tough to let anyone on Miami check bother him while he's QBing Dallas. I wish the Finals could start on Sunday. Dallas in 6.
Thats good. Regardless of Dallas being there, I hate the Heat. I just hate to see their little back room plan to unite in Miami work. Its just so tainted. Lebron will never be respected like other superstars, because he bailed on his team and city, because he knew he couldnt do it on his own. Now he's puffed up having Wade behind him. Dirks attitude has been exactly what a franchise would want. He embraced the city, he recruited for his team. He's a great team mate, he took less money to stay. Plus he's had amazing numbers his entire career. I almost wish a title more for him than the team.
I missed the Miami game due to a storm knocking the power out so I didn't see the Heat's reaction to winning the East. I did see Dallas' reaction and they everyone from Dirk to Cuban looked extremely focused...almost as if to say that "All good, but I'm not here for this."
Kidd, Dirk, Terry, Stojakovic, Cuban, and Carlisle have all faced Finals disappointment. They all know that this is their last chance. I'd put my money on that.

Last chance 'if' Kidd retires. I must say it is amazing to see someone at 38 still be so effective as a point guard. Keys to the series can Haslem slow down Dirk and will the referees give the Heat slashers a huge edge in free throws like last time.
Two teams playing at their peaks. Eight weeks ago I don't think too many people expected the anticipation this matching is producing. Both teams looked dominant in their conference runs. I am really looking forward to this series.

really? i mean stockton was averaging 10.3 and 7.7 at age 41, steve nash will be just as effective, magic johnson. the great PGs are effective much longer than any position in the game IMO. gary payton was pretty effective until his last 2 seasons and he played till 39 yrs old.
