No they didn't. Dallas was ahead by 9 at one point in the first half. They went back and forth. It did seem like something out of a Rocky movie though.

You are funny. Clearly a Miami hater, which is not that uncommon around these parts.

I say the Heat take this series in 5. They are, imo, a much better team than the Mavs. They just suffered an uncharacteristic collapse tonight, the blame for which I lay primarily at the feet of Eric Spoelstra. He should have been preaching to his team to attack the basket and they probably should have pressured the ball more in the last few minutes. Nothing keeps a team in attack mode quite like pressing. The Mavs were sloppy with the ball all night, and the Heat should have turned the pressure up on their ballhandlers at the end of the fourth quarter.

Spo will talk it over with Pat in the morning. If the Heat go down 1-2, I expect to see Pat Riley walk out of the locker room a la Willis Reed.

Besides, no team with Brendan Haywood can ever win a championship. As a loyal Tar Heels fan, I can truly say that his game is some hot garbage.

This seems fitting.

I was in a Cleveland bar tonight, and people were cheering as loud for the Mavs as they would the Cavs. It was insane how Clevelanders were cheering and getting into the game.

Cleveland metro supports Dallas right now.

The Heat ran out of gas as the big three couldn't keep up the pace with the deeper Mavericks team. This is how the Mavs can beat the Heat IMO. Run them into the ground in the 4th quarter. The Heat were all over the Mavs earlier in the game, tracking each pass and smothering their players. In the 4th quarter, the Mavs were able to find the open man because the Heat were too tired to cover all the passing. I do like Wade, but I have to admit. I felt pretty damn good when the Mavs pulled it out.

I'd like to see Dirk, Marion, and Kidd finally get a ring. Count me among those who don't care for caveman Lebron.
