Yeah, the west is an utter mystery for me this year. The east has gone pretty much as expected.

May just come down to whomever is rested and healthy.

Lakers are looking better, Spurs looking tough, Mavs may yet pull it together and of course OKC will likely have HCA and will be a tough tough out for anybody.

The Bulls are so unpredictable.

They lose to the Magic WITH Rose on their home floor.

They beat the Magic WITHOUT Rose in Orlando.

Unbelievable

Are you learning that long term analysis is far more insightful than short term analysis?

If you've followed the NBA for any length of time and pay attention you will learn that on any given night any team can beat another. Single losses and wins are somewhat meaningless.

Kobe shot 3-20 the other nights home loss to Utah....crap happens.

I thought that only applied to football not basketball since there are more players involved on the field that can contribute in different ways. In basketball if one team has 5 players who are clearly better than the other 5 players it's usually no shot at all.

Yes I guess I will just wait until the playoffs start to evaluate the Bulls again because that's when it will count the most. The way John Lucas is playing and how the team is committed to defense, I see no reason why they can't give the Heat more of a challenge this year in the playoffs.

How about them Rockets..... Dragic played like the energizer bunny with his penetration and finding the open guys....Parsons plays very good D on Kobe tonight. Rockets have so many good role players. If only a superstar like Howard is smart enough to see that he could contend for a title with a team like the Rockets, it would his team and he would be the main guy. Oh well.

I was glad to see them lose since they traded Fisher. It would have been even better if Fisher was playing for the Rockets.

It was a good win but I don't know that adding Howard would get them part the second round. Yes he is the best big but a team of role players is t going to help one star. Just ask lebron in CLE, or per gasol/post shaq Kobe. It's a good start but not enough

I think the Rockets' role players are better playing together than the CLE guys surrounding Lebron. Same with Kobe surrounding cast post Shaq and pre-Gasol. Also, having Howard will get you easy inside the paint points, rebounds, and protecting the paint. Lebron never posted up in CLE and more 1on1 stuff. Rockets also can penetrate/post up too besides shooting the 3s..a bit more flexible.
