It's too early to even consider that. But minutes may be an issue for Anthony with undrafted rookie Clark giving them good defensive minutes and having 3 point shooting ability.
Rockets problem is that they can't shoot, and they are getting very little in transition - meaning they are playing more half court offense. They also have very little defensively in the paint, and opponents are layup-ing them to death.

I don't think he is the problem here. He is not going anywhere in the near future.
He may not be to blame for all of the early season Rocket woes, but without a doubt he WAS going to be a problem later on. Much like a festering sore that is a minor annoyance at first but gets progressively worse, Rockets management were wise to cut ties early on before the Anthony situation gets worse.

Anthony will miss a third-consecutive game since he went 1 of 11 in his return to Oklahoma City, with the Rockets choosing to move rookie Gary Clark ahead of him in the rotation.
...
Anthony averaged 13.4 points per game in his 10 games this season, making 40.5 percent of his shots, 32.8 percent of his 3-pointers, most coming off the bench. With the Rockets struggling in a 5-7 start, they had been more effective when he was not playing, outscoring opponents by 4.3 points per 100 possessions when he was off the court and getting outscored by 7.3 points per 100 possessions when he played.
That's a 11.6 point difference between him being on the court, and off.
It is amazing to me that this went off the rails so quickly. And who would be willing to pick him up after seeing how this disintegrated so fast?
I think this is more about Anthony pouting and wanting out, rather than the Rockets wanting to get rid of him.
