So Grant Hill Retired yesterday after what many would consider a great career. He has a lot of things that he accomplished, but many will remember him for what could have been. With that said, thinking about his career, I completely forgot to include his college career as something to consider. I think that might actually might get him in. Thoughts?

He is what the term "potential" was created for, he never lived up to it due to injury.

No way does he get in.

There's no way he should get in. Very good career nothing more, because of injuries. Very similar situation to Bill Walton.

This is the Basketball HOF, not the NBA HOF. Hill, a 7-time All-Star, great college player, might get in.

Why? Horry just happened to be on championship teams, while Hill was actually the top player of his team and of the league for a good portion of his career. It will be close, but I wouldn't be surprised if he made it in. Like another post stated, it is the Basketball Hall of Fame and not the NBA Hall of Fame. So, his college career and being a gold medalist may get him over the edge.

Where does the line get crossed? Grant hill was a star, put up some numbers for a few years, but in the end never accomished anything. Horry wasn't just a bench rider on any of his championship teams, he was never the star BUT he was ALWAYS a huge part of every team. I would venture to say several of those arguably may never have won a title including my spurs in 2005.
